About Me

I'm a software product manager working in healthcare tech.

Origins

Within a very short time of starting as a Software Engineer at Doctor.com, I was suddenly in charge of the UI and features of a number of solutions. At the time, I just thought that's what all full stack engineers at startups did: work with leadership on planning and development, own going to market. It came naturally to me as someone interested in UX and the functioning of our business.

It would be a few years before I fully realized that I was doing two jobs at once. I was developing roadmaps and proposals for my own projects, handing myself requirements. Getting feedback about my mockups felt better than testing my backend code.

I transitioned to full-time Product Management at the beginning of 2020 and have been an effective partner for software engineering teams.

Current work

I'm a Senior Product Manager at Press Ganey, working in the brand experience division.
